Geography

At Hempshill Hall Primary School we are all geographers and we promote a passion for the world and its’ people that we hope will remain with the children for the rest of their lives. This interest in geography will inspire them to learn more about the world around them and give pupils knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. As they progress through the school, the children will deepen their understanding of the interaction between physical and human processes, the formation and use of landscapes and environments and develop their mapwork skills through practical activities and fieldwork.
