Design and Technology

In design and technology our vision is to empower children through equipping them with the opportunity to develop key life skills. We aim to develop creativity, imagination, co-operation and communication skills. Children are taught practical life skills including teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving. They develop an understanding of when technology can be used to help plan and design. Children are taught to understand needs in relation to people and the environment when working from a brief. We equip children with the skills to mould, craft and make projects using a wide range of materials. These skills are embedded for our children to take into future employment.
